  • Designer Michael Anastassiades masterfully blends industrial simplicity with profound symbolism, a concept beautifully epitomized by the IC T1 Low Table Lamp from FLOS. Emitting diffused light through a mouth-blown opaline sphere delicately supported by a brass-plated steel frame embodies a harmonious balance of form and function. Anastassiades draws inspiration from the concept of poise, evident in the lamp’s design that evokes the skilled balance of a juggler’s act, alongside deeper symbolism represented by the lamp’s name, “IC,” referencing the identity code for immigrants entering the UK, making a profound and commanding statement through design.
