Description
- Designed for use with cold-formed steel framing
- Provide faster installation than using two single-sided straps
- Provide a connection between the truss or rafter and the wall of the structure that helps resist wind and seismic forces
- Use also for a variety of general connections where one member crosses another
- Seat width: 1-11/16 in.
- Made from 43 mil (18 ga.) steel
- Galvanized (G90) for corrosion resistance
Simpson Strong-Tie cold-formed steel connectors are designed to provide the strength and performance required in every cold-formed steel (CFS) application. The S/H1A is designed to resist seismic and wind forces. This double-sided hurricane tie holds the rafter or truss for high uplift load resistance. The S/H1A is ideal for several proprietary truss chords. It features embossments that add stiffness in crucial areas for improved performance.
